"Design is the silent ambassador of your brand."

My Story
When I was fourteen, I went on a field trip to a convention center to visit new businesses. We walked through their expansive exhibit hall as staff was setting up for a 500-person plated dinner. Each table was carefully arranged. As we walked through, I tapped on my mom's shoulder, and mentioned that one table across the room was missing a napkin. Every other round was set up with eight plates, glasses, silverware, etc. This one table had that one tiny flaw.
That was the first moment I realized I was really good at picking up on small details. It wasn't until I was much older that I realized how special it is to have an eye for those little details that often get missed. I can visualize how something should look and then make it happen. I studied at Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration, and excelled in marketing and business communication courses where formatting and appearance of your work was crucial. Then upon graduating, I followed my lifelong dream of becoming a teacher and received my masters degree in teaching. I decided I wanted to put my creativity and formatting skills to use in the classroom helping students better engage with the curriculum. As my family was growing and time at home became more valuable, I decided to switch back to working full-time in business. I enjoy working with a wide array of individuals and businesses, and find the connections to be even more powerful in the current world climate.
Repeatedly, I find there's a business need for someone who has a passion like mine. Someone who will adjust margins, tweak font size and type, and function with ease across multiple platforms and programs. I founded Deck Stylist with the hope that I could take this burden off of someone else's plate. My goal is to save you time.
Thank you for your interest. I hope we can meet soon!
